Vegetable-Tanned Leather Ear Loops

Our vegetable-tanned leather ear loops are handmade in the USA from high-quality, world-renowned Horween leather. Vegetable-tanning is one of the most eco-friendly methods of tanning leather, making these ear straps environmentally conscious as well as stylish.

Vegetable-tanned leathers are not treated with harmful chemicals in the tanning or dyeing processes. Instead, they are treated with a combination of bark, leaves, nuts, oils, and other plants. The deep chestnut brown hue of our leather ear loops perfectly complements our masks, which contain side channels for easy insertion and removal of ear loops.

Add these luxurious leather ear loops to your mask for a stylish upgrade and easily switch between the organic cotton twill ear loops included with your Leaven Goods mask as desired.

Use instructions

To insert, push the non-knotted end of a leather strap into a side channel in the mask until it emerges through the other side. Pull until both ends are equal and then insert the knotted end and silicone adjuster through the slit on the non-knotted end. Pull one end of the loop taut and slide the silicone adjuster until the mask fit is as desired. The ear loops are made extra-long to allow for size customization. When you achieve your desired fit, simply snip off excess leather ends with scissors at a diagonal angle. Repeat process with a second ear loop for the other side of the mask.  

Care instructions

- Do not place in washing machine or dryer. Please remove leather ear loops before washing masks in a washing machine or by hand. Water can deteriorate leather.

- If needed, the leather ear loops can be carefully wiped with a leather cleaner.
